What Keynote Concierge is
Keynote Concierge is a speaker-matchmaking service. Event planners tell us about their event and we recommend speakers. Speakers may submit themselves for roster consideration. Using the site or submitting a form means you accept these terms.
For event planners
Requesting a shortlist is free and carries no obligation to book. Our recommendations are made in good faith based on the brief you give us. Speaker fees, availability, and final terms are confirmed during the booking process, and a booking exists only when an agreement is signed by the relevant parties.
For speakers
Submitting your materials does not guarantee representation, a listing, or any booking. Admission to the roster is by review only and cannot be purchased. When a booking closes through us, we are paid a percentage of the booking fee under terms agreed with you in advance.
The speaking agreement
These terms cover your use of Keynote Concierge and our matchmaking service. The speaking engagement itself is governed by a separate contract between the relevant parties, agreed upon and signed later in the booking process. No engagement exists, and no one is obligated to appear or to pay a speaking fee, until that separate agreement is signed.
How we are paid
Planners never pay Keynote Concierge. Our fee is a percentage of the booking, paid by the speaker when a deal completes. Nobody can pay to join the roster or to appear in a shortlist.
Content and trademarks
The site's content, design, and branding belong to Keynote Concierge. Speaker names and company marks shown on the site belong to their respective owners and appear to describe real working relationships, not to imply endorsement of any other party.
No guarantees, limited liability
We work hard to recommend well, but events, travel, and humans carry inherent uncertainty. The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keynote Concierge is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount we were paid in connection with the booking at issue.
